Out in the western part of sacramento county Lies a very unique and quaint old mining town of Folsom. Just East of Sacramento county is the beautiful golden meadows of El Dorado Hills. El Dorado Hills lies along Highway 50 a little over an hours drive from South lake Tahoe. The city of Roseville is on the southern edge of Placer county. It was once known for Southern Pacific's transportation hub for the shipment of friuts and vegetables in the early 1900's. The city of Rocklin has had significant growth over the past 20 years. Rocklin has proven to be a very desireable community to live in because of its great schools, athelectics and recreation. Not too long ago the city of Lincoln was a quiet town that seemed far away from it's neighbor Rocklin.
